I’m aware that MAY sound over the top to some but I genuinely appreciate anyone that takes an interest in my ventures. 🥹
April was absolutely insane with my very own pageant preparations taking over my life. As since the end of January I was getting geared up to compete in the recent A-Sisterhood Ambassador Competition.
The event took place on Saturday 20th April at The Gate Cardiff in front of an intimate audience with former Miss Universe GB Noky Simbani hosting the event. She was joined by the events Drag Queens and organiser Paula Abbandonato who is also the director of Miss Universe Great Britain!
My journey to the competition was filled with appearances all over the UK, fundraising for the A-Sisterhood organisation, helping other women, finding bargains, putting the competition on the map, raising awareness about my ambassador credentials and coaching queens including the winner of the competition Thirowshie Srijeyaram.
RA catwalk coaching and styling advice contributed towards 40% of Thirowshie’s over all score, with me placing a very humble second place! Meaning she will be off on her well deserved international humanitarian adventure later this year.
After raising over £3000 for the A-Sisterhood organisation I genuinely couldn’t think of a more deserving winner than her. She sooo throughly deserved her title and I’m sooo happy that she won!
I mean if you know me you’ll know I’m very competitive … but also a major empath so the two combined create a well rounded character in my view. As I can honestly say my intentions were to win the trip to humanitarian adventure to India for my personal publicity purposes and my heart wasn’t after the title itself, it was after the rewards that came with it. So when I say I was disappointed for 24hours I do truly mean it. Hehehe.
