Ravens Angels is a start up model and pageant coaching consultancy service. With tips into the latest industry knowledge from how to build a portfolio for free through networking alone, creating a presence on social media, the best UK agencies to apply for, prestigious catwalk training and interview coaching.
The service is managed by Raven Dixon-Biggs a 29 year old community advocate and 10 year beauty queen. From competing in pageants such as Miss England, Miss Great Britain, Worlds Perfect Pageant Florida, Miss Diamond, countless regional competition heats and most recently placing top 10 in UK’s National Miss it is fair to say she is more than experienced.
At the age of 29, Raven is currently running multiple small startup businesses that are still very much in their early stages. These businesses include providing model & pageant coaching services to under 18’s and over 18’s, in order to provide them with the best life skills on and off the stage.
However, the journey here has not been easy. At 19 she started competing in beauty pageants and has overcome an array of adversity by paving the way for other young black beauty’s to take to stage. But Till this very day there is still such a political element to pageants and a negative bias towards women of colour. Something which she have actively tried to change through competing for over 9 years.
This starts by making sure our young women are ready for the fierce and competitive world we live in. Through coaching with Ravens Angels the young women learn core speaking and walking skills enabling them in all aspects of stage life. Pageantry creates a woman with limitless aspirations and the skills to create their own platform by being able to use their voice as their superpower. Despite being a first time mum and single mother to a 2 year old, she is determined to continue inspiring the world with her story.
However, she is the beauty Queen who will openly tackle any taboo subject and openly make some noise about it. In the past two years alone she has gone viral using the power of the media to advocate for better childcare provisions in the UK.
